Spitfires acquire goaltender Brandon Maxwell

dsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that they have acquired goaltender Brandon Maxwell from the Erie Otters. Maxwell was the first goaltender selected in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection and currently plays in the United States Under-18 Develpoment Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In exchange, the Spitfires have sent forward Andrew Yogan and a second round selection in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection to the Otters.

"First of all, we're very excited to add a goaltender of Brandon's caliber and potential. We will work dilligently to get him in a Spitfires uniform. We now have excellent depth at goaltender with Andrew Engelage, Stephen Gleeson and Brandon Maxwell," said Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel.
