Windsor Spitfires rookie right-winger Austen Brassard is this year's recipient of the Mickey Renaud Memorial Award of Excellence.

The Spitfires present the award annually to the Essex County player selected in the Ontario Hockey League priority selection draft who best exemplifies the qualities of leadership, commitment and courage that Renaud exhibited on a daily basis with Windsor.
