
Passingham started off the week in style, as he stopped all 33 shots faced in recording his first career OHL shutout, leading the Spitfires to a 2-0 victory over the London Knights on Thursday. He was selected as the game’s first star for his outstanding performance. On Sunday, he allowed 6 goals on 27 shots as the Spitfires lost 6-5 to the Sarnia Sting but the following day, Passingham rebounded with a sparkling 28 save effort and his second OHL shutout as Windsor blanked the Sudbury Wolves 7-0. The 18 year-old native of Mississauga, ON is currently ranked in the top ten of every major OHL statistic amongst goalies, as he is first in the OHL with two shutouts, tied for first in wins with six, third in goals against average at 2.29 and eighth in save percentage at .920. Passingham is eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Windsor will play their next home game this Thursday against the Ottawa 67’s at the WFCU Centre.
