Spfires Defeat Plymouth 5-3, Move to 2-0 in the Pre-Season

(Windsor) Yesterday afternoon, the Windsor Spitfires took to the road, facing off against the rival Plymouth Whalers at Compuware Arena in Plymouth, MI. Windsor improved to a perfect 2-0 record, as they defeated the Whalers 5-3. Spitfire forward and Michigan native Austin Watson scored the game-winning goal 1:14 into the third period with Richard Panik posting his second consecutive four-point game and defenseman Cam Fowler registering three assists in the win. The scoring summary for yesterday’s game is as follows:
